Eric Bischoff is officially back in the game. The WWE Hall of Famer has revealed that his brand-new promotion, Real American Freestyle, will launch a weekly, two-hour live television series in early 2026. The company’s first event is already locked in for August 30 in Cleveland, Ohio, streaming live on Fox Nation.

The promotion is stacked with talent from the start, featuring world-class and Olympic athletes such as Bo Nickal, Kyle Dake, Kennedy Blades, and Sarah Hildebrandt. Speaking on his 83 Weeks podcast with Conrad Thompson, Bischoff broke the news himself, calling it a scoop:

“We’re going to launch a weekly, two-hour live, Real American Freestyle series coming your way [in the] first quarter [of] 2026. So there is so much great stuff going on here, by the way, that’s breaking news. I did an interview with the Boston Globe yesterday, and I gave it to them, but that’s not coming out till I think Saturday. So it’s a scoop. As far as we’re concerned, 52 weeks a year, two hours a week, live. Real American freestyle action coming your way.”

Bischoff didn’t just stop there—he made it clear that this is just the beginning. He explained that he’s already working far beyond the debut show and putting plans in place to grow Real American Freestyle into something much bigger.

“I’m already looking past this event. You know, for the most part… I’m starting to think about, Okay, what’s next? I want to stay ahead of this. So what’s the next big move? And Chad and I have been talking a lot about it, and we both agreed that the next big move is going to be that weekly series, that live action series every single week, and that’s something that we can pull off with the existing team we have in place… I’m already living in about July 2026, in my head.”

With a stacked roster, a major streaming partner, and Bischoff’s ambitious vision, Real American Freestyle could become one of the most intriguing new ventures in combat sports and entertainment.
