Eric Bischoff isn’t interested in burying the hatchet with Tony Khan—and he made that crystal clear in his latest response.

This came on April 10, 2026, when a fan on Twitter asked Eric Bischoff about the possibility of bringing Tony Khan onto his 83 Weeks podcast, especially after Khan recently appeared on shows hosted by Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo. The suggestion was framed as a chance for both sides to finally mend fences.

Bischoff didn’t entertain the idea for long—and his response left little room for interpretation as he noted that there isn’t a fence to mend in the first place, saying, “No fence to mend.”

That short but direct answer speaks volumes, especially considering the long-running tension between the two. Over the years, Bischoff has repeatedly taken shots at All Elite Wrestling and its leadership, while Khan has previously fired back, questioning the logic and intent behind Bischoff’s critiques.

Khan himself addressed the dynamic back in 2024, acknowledging Bischoff’s legacy with World Championship Wrestling while also calling out what he saw as constant, unfounded criticism.

“It's an interesting question. There haven't been that many wrestling companies that have risen to international prominence. There aren't that many wrestling companies in modern history that have sold tens of thousands of tickets and hundreds of thousands pay-per-views.”

He continued by pointing out their shared accomplishments—while also taking issue with how Bischoff uses his platform. Khan didn’t completely dismiss Bischoff, making it clear he still respects what he accomplished in wrestling history.

“In that sense, Eric and I do have something in common. I do respect his accomplishments. He just has a show, a podcast, that is largely devoted to taking shots at us and a lot of it isn't rational or logical or truthful. I do respect what he accomplished with WCW. It was a great company. In that sense, I do respect him.”

There’s no tease, no buildup, no “maybe down the line”—just a flat-out dismissal. If there was ever a chance of the two sitting down for a conversation, Bischoff just made it clear he doesn’t see anything that needs fixing. With both sides continuing to take their own shots publicly, this isn’t a rivalry that’s fading—it’s one that’s staying exactly where it is.

Do you think Tony Khan and Eric Bischoff should eventually sit down and address their issues publicly, or is it better left as is? Drop your thoughts and feedback below.
