Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore isn’t mincing words when it comes to life after wrestling’s biggest stage.

Now going by Real1 on the independent scene, the ex-Cruiserweight Champion recently sat down with The Rich Eisen Show to talk about how he’s fought through public backlash and industry blacklisting since his 2018 WWE departure. And in typical Enzo fashion, the comparison he made was anything but subtle.

“Unwaveringly, my confidence has never left. My opportunities got squandered,” he said. “I got canceled, I got s**t on by the world, and I got told I was one thing. But, to that point, I love to inspire those who have to persevere and go through things.”

Then came the biblical bombshell:

“You know, Moses had to leave Egypt, and he had to go in the desert, and you know, he had to go through something to come back and say, ‘Alright, here’s what time it is now.’”

Enzo Amore didn’t just draw parallels to Moses—he made it clear that if anyone’s planning to take him out of the game now, they’ll have to go through him.

He also gave a shoutout to the independent wrestling promotion 4th Rope Wrestling, led by rapper Westside Gunn and Smoke DZA, where he’s been one of the most outspoken figures in the locker room.

“I’m moving the needle here,” Enzo said, making it clear he sees the company as a rising force — and himself as a centerpiece of that movement.

Enzo Amore may no longer be lighting up WWE microphones, but he’s still finding ways to get people talking — whether it’s through scripture, defiance, or just being the loudest guy in the room.

Is Enzo Amore still one of wrestling’s most compelling personalities… or is this just another promo in the wilderness? Sound off in the comments and let us know where you stand.
