Enzo Amore was fired by WWE due to allegations of sexual assault back in 2018 and since then, Amore has been tearing it up in the indies. While fans wonder if he’ll ever return to WWE, Amore has made it clear he’s not really interested in going back right now.

While speaking to Tim Rivera, Enzo Amore talked about his time in WWE and how things were when he first got there. He said that as soon as he walked in, Roman Reigns, The Shield, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins were already there. He and Big Cass had already become fan favorites by then. After that, Kevin Owens showed up, along with Sami Zayn, and PAC, who became known as Neville.

Enzo explained that he and Cass were already a tag team in NXT and were trained by WWE to perform the way the company wanted for TV. He saw a lot of people come and go during his time there and believes that competition helped everyone get better.

“I walk through the f****** door, you got Roman Reigns, The Shield, Dean Ambrose, and Seth Rollins, right? They’re staring me right in the face. Kevin Owens comes into the place after me and Cass had already become babyfaces. You got Sami Zayn who was El Generico before he came in. You got PAC, who became Neville when he came in. Enzo and Cass are already a tag team and we were the guys that came together in NXT that were taught by WWE how to put on the product they wanted to see on the screen. And I saw a lot of people come and go, and competition breeds success, man.”

As for a return, Enzo made it clear he doesn’t feel the need to go back. Even if it’s part of his future, he’s not saying yes right now. He’s happy with where he is, working with Fourth Rope and Westside Gunn. He feels like he’s got his life together and things are going well.

“Opportunity to do it once. I don’t need to do this s*** again. Even if God puts it in my, you know, future—like, I didn’t say I would take it right now. I got this, okay? I work for f****** Fourth Rope, bro. I work for Westside Gunn, okay? I got my s*** straight. Like, my s*** is tight, bro. Like, we doing all right.”

Enzo Amore also made it clear he wants his contributions to be acknowledged by WWE. Regardless, it’s clear Amore isn’t interested in making his way back to WWE right now and fans will just have to accept that.
