Enzo Amore remains one of the most outspoken and controversial stars in the business, especially after his release from WWE back in 2018. Amore loves drawing heat and it appears he spared absolutely no one in an unhinged promo recently, targeting AEW, NXT, Cody Rhodes and more.
The Realest Guy in the Room took to his Instagram and uploaded a video of himself cutting a promo and insulted AEW, calling it a place where no real stars are made. Speaking from S***life Stadium, he claimed that things could be worse—he could be standing in an empty parking lot like AEW.
“I’m here at S***life Stadium, but it could be worse. I could be in an empty parking lot like AEW. Actually, I could be in the used car parking lot called AEW, where a star has never been born.”
Amore bragged about having a briefcase full of I-O-Us and claimed they were as valuable as cash. He also made fun of New Japan Pro Wrestling, saying the locker room has a bad smell.
“I got a briefcase loaded to the gills with I-O-Us, and those are as good as cash. Hey, only two things smell like fish. The other one? The New Japan locker room.”
Enzo then turned his attention to WWE, saying he doesn’t care about anyone in the company. He accused people in WWE of pretending to be his friends but actually wanting him to fail. He dismissed NXT talent as inexperienced and told them they wouldn’t make it. He said that when WWE eventually gets rid of them, he will be there, ready to take their spot and prove he’s better than them.
“And if you think I give a f*** about any of you coats in WWE, who want me to get f***** when we talk on the phone—we ain’t fucking friends. I don’t give a f*** about anybody. NXT, all you kids with your terrible twos teething—I got two words for ya: Suck it. As a matter of fact, I got three words—you can triple suck it till you superkick the bucket. And when they put you out like a stray dog, I’ll be out here, ready to put you to pasture, standing on business, ready to piss on your grave.”
Amore also called out Cody Rhodes, comparing himself to Eli Manning and Cody to Tom Brady. He said that just like Eli defeated Brady twice, he would also become a two-time champion. Unlike Eli, though, he believed he would be a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He paid tribute to the late Scott Hall while making this point. He continued his rant by cursing out acting coach Howard Fine, insisting he doesn’t need acting classes and called out Rhodes there as well.
“Hey Cody, I hate to be the one to ruin your perfect story, but if you’re Tom Brady, I’m more like Eli Manning. So, I’m a two-time, just like Eli. But unlike Eli, I’m a first-ballot in the Hall—and that’s word to Scott Hall, the late great. F*** Howard Fine, I don’t need to go to acting class, Cody, you little f***.”
Enzo took a shot at wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, saying he doesn’t even know what he looks like. He then mocked The Young Bucks, claiming they never made it in New York and are past their prime. He made fun of their background, saying one of them grew up playing on a trampoline and now thinks he’s tough.
“To this day, I have no idea what Dave Meltzer looks like. And the Young Bucks? They’ve never made it in fucking New York. Young Bucks? You’re old f****. He’s past with a trampoline in his yard—now he thinks he’s hard.”
Amore also criticized acting coach Howard Fine, saying he doesn’t need acting lessons. He then insulted Kenny Omega, calling him “Mega Man” and saying wrestling isn’t a video game—it’s real life. He claimed he is the best at talking trash and proving himself in the ring.
Amore called himself Dusty Rhodes’ top student and said no one could match his skills. At the end of his promo, he mocked Omega’s charisma, saying even a fart into a megaphone would be more entertaining than Omega speaking on a microphone.
“Hey Kenny Omega, you ain’t off limits either. Mega Man, I ain’t playing with f****** joysticks—this ain’t a video game, this is real life, and I am the best at talking s*** and backing it up. I am the best on Dusty Rhodes’ #1 student, and you can’t teach that. Omega? I fart on a megaphone, and I got more charisma coming out of my ass than when you talk on a microphone.”
Enzo Amore also made it clear he has no intention of going to AEW after they never reached out to him in the past. Enzo Amore always speaks his mind, and his latest promo shows he still loves controversy. It’s unclear if this will lead to a return to mainstream wrestling or just more viral moments.
Is Enzo Amore still a relevant force in wrestling, or is he just stirring up controversy for attention? Do you think his promo was effective, or did he go too far? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
