Elio LeFleur Wins WWE Speed Title During 2/24 NXT

The February 24 episode of NXT included some big moments. We kicked off the night with a title change, but that wasn’t all.

Elio LeFleur entered NXT as the French luchador, and that idea was unique for a lot of fans. He worked hard to get to WWE, and now he is a champion.

Ever since winning LFG, Jasper Troy has been on a warpath. It didn’t take him much effort to win the WWE Speed Title, but that reign ended this week.

Jasper Troy put the WWE Speed Title on the line against Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight this week on NXT. That triple threat WWE Speed Title match was a seven-minute match that saw a shocking ending.

After Eli Knight nailed Jasper Troy with a moonsault, Elio LeFleur jumped in and got the pinfall. He walked away as the new WWE Speed Champion.

Only time will tell what happens to Jasper Troy from this point on. He is destined to do big things, because the big man can move and work around the ring. Obviously, those next steps didn’t include the WWE Speed Title.
