WWE looks ready to bring one of its most chaotic match concepts back to American soil, and Chicago may be the city getting the next Elimination Chamber event.

According to a new report from Sports Business Journal, WWE is set to run Elimination Chamber at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois on February 28.

Shortly after this report was published, WWE officially confirmed the date and location, locking in Elimination Chamber’s return to the U.S. after several years abroad. This marks the first Elimination Chamber event held in the United States since 2021, back when WWE was producing shows inside the ThunderDome during the pandemic. Since then, Saudi Arabia, Canada, and Australia have hosted the brutal structure.

Chicago last landed a premium live event in November 2023 when Survivor Series took over the Allstate Arena—an event forever remembered for the dramatic WWE return of CM Punk. The United Center hasn’t hosted a WWE PLE since SummerSlam 1994, making this potential booking even more notable.
