lijah isn’t holding back when it comes to his WWE run—he thinks Elias had way more to offer. Speaking during a virtual signing with K & S WrestleFest, the former WWE star reflected on his time with the company and made it clear that he believes they never truly unlocked what he could do.
“I thought it was awesome, a lot of great stuff. I had a lot of incredible, very memorable moments for me personally and probably for a lot of people. I loved it,” Elijah said. “Elias can and could and should do so much more in WWE. They only scratched the surface with my capabilities. I had a lot of great moments, some incredible guys to go up against.”
Since his WWE release in September 2023, Elias has been making moves on the independent scene, competing for REVOLVER and other promotions. But when asked if he could ever see himself returning to WWE, he didn’t shut the door on the idea.
“I’d love that. Look, you see how the business works by now. You could be gone, Carlito was gone for ten years, look at Drew McIntyre. These things happen, for sure. Everybody has their own little story. I’m not writing it off. It’s not an immediate, man, I gotta do that. But if the opportunities come up, sure, we’ll see.”
Elijah also doubled down on his confidence, saying Elias could succeed anywhere. “I think you could put Elias in any arena anywhere and he’d make it work,” he said.
While WWE may have moved on, Elijah clearly believes there’s still unfinished business. Whether he gets another shot remains to be seen, but if history proves anything, never say never in wrestling.
Elijah isn’t begging for a WWE comeback, but he’s leaving the door wide open. Whether WWE comes calling or not, he’s confident that Elias could still light up any arena and deliver. With past stars like Drew McIntyre and Carlito making big returns, anything’s possible—now it’s just a matter of whether WWE sees what Elijah already knows.
