The life of a pro wrestler can get very dangerous at times, due to the risk of crazed stalkers. Elayna Black knows this all too well, as she has now revealed a terrifying experience with one at the WWE Performance Center.

While speaking on Inside The Ring, Elayna Black revealed a scary experience at the WWE Performance Center. She said people show up there often, but they are usually safe because of their strict security guard, Eddie, who makes sure things stay under control.

One night during promo class around 6 p.m., the building was locked since it was after hours and most of the staff had left. Because security wasn’t at the door at that moment, the wrestlers had to let each other in.

Elayna arrived just as Jacy Jayne was walking up, so she held the door open for her. Behind Jacy, she noticed a tall man coming toward the door. At first, she thought he might be a worker, but then she realized it didn’t make sense since it was after hours.

“People show up to the PC all the time. Luckily, they have a really good security guard, Eddie. He’s the best. He’s kind of scary, but that’s a good thing because people can be crazy.

I remember one time during promo class at night, around 6 p.m. That’s after hours, when the PC is locked and the staff is gone. There was always security, but not always at the door, so whoever got there first had to keep letting others in. I had just walked in and saw Jacy Jayne coming, so I held the door for her. Behind her, I noticed a tall man walking close, and he didn’t look familiar at all. At first I thought maybe he was someone fixing something, but then I realized it was after hours, and it felt weird.”

As Jacy walked in, the man suddenly ran toward the door. Elayna Black quickly pulled Jacy inside and shut the door just in time. The man grabbed the handle, but the door locked automatically, stopping him from getting in.

Shaken, they went into the promo room, where they could see outside without being seen. The man stood there banging on the door until security arrived. It turned out he was looking for Shawn Michaels and begging for a tryout. Head coach Matt Bloom showed up and told the man to leave, but he still seemed strange and unstable.

“As Jacy was walking in, he suddenly sped up and started running. She came in, and I quickly side-stepped her in, then pulled the door shut. Luckily, it was one of those doors that locks automatically, so just as I pulled it closed, he grabbed it from the outside. It was literally at the same second, but it locked in time.

We were shocked. We went into the promo room where you can see out but no one can see in, and we watched him standing there, banging on the door. Eventually security came, and it turned out he was looking for Shawn Michaels. Then Matt Bloom, our head coach, came to the door and told the guy to leave. The man was begging for a tryout, but something about him felt really off—scary, even.”

Elayna Black said her heart was racing because she didn’t know what would have happened if the man had gotten inside. It was just her and Jacy Jayne in the room, and they both felt terrified. She admitted she still doesn’t know what his true intentions were, only that the situation felt very dangerous.

“I kept thinking about how close it was. If he had gotten in, it would have just been me and Jacy in that small room, and who knows what would have happened. My heart was racing. We were both terrified. I still don’t know what his intentions were, but it was nuts.”

This comes after Elayna Black’s best friend Roxanne Perez had to deal with a crazy stalker who wanted her dead. Regardless, fans are just glad the situation was contained before anything scary happened to Elayna Black and that’s all that matters in the end.
