It’s official: Elayna Black is back where she belongs.

TNA Wrestling confirmed on January 28, 2026, that one of pro wrestling’s fastest-rising stars has signed a new deal with the company—marking a full-circle moment for the former WWE NXT standout, also known to fans as Cora Jade.

Elayna announced the news live on Busted Open Radio this morning via SiriusXM, just weeks after her surprise reintroduction on the premiere episode of Thursday Night iMPACT! on AMC.

"She's one of the most exciting rising stars in wrestling today," TNA said in the official release, calling her signing a major addition to the Knockouts division.

Born in Chicago, Illinois, Elayna Black began wrestling in 2018 and first appeared in TNA in 2019. She was trained by Bryce Benjamin, Isaias Velasquez, and Mustafa Ali, and even dropped out of school at 15 to chase her dream full-time.

Elayna’s grind took her across the world—from competing in a brutal deathmatch in 2020 to making history in WWE NXT as Cora Jade. During her NXT run, she captured the NXT Women’s Tag Team Titles and became the youngest-ever participant in a WarGames match, famously diving off the top of the steel cage.

Now, she returns to TNA with her eyes locked on the Knockouts World Championship. Outside the ring, Elayna is no stranger to the spotlight. She’s appeared in Machine Gun Kelly music videos, walked in Los Angeles Fashion Week, and is a proud dog mom to two Goldendoodles.

Fans can catch her weekly on Thursday Night iMPACT! airing Thursdays at 9/8c on AMC and AMC+ in the U.S., Sportsnet 360 in Canada, and TNA+ worldwide.
