Elayna Black is back on the indies—but that doesn’t mean she remembers all the details from her old persona.

During a recent Sign It Live appearance, the former WWE star had a hilarious moment when a fan asked her to personalize an item with her “Sorceress of Sin” nickname… and she completely blanked on how to spell it.

Elayna, who was released from WWE NXT earlier this year, admitted it’s been a while since she’s leaned into that nickname, leading to a funny exchange on the livestream.

“I haven’t heard that in a while… I don’t even know if that’s spelled correctly… Chelsea, Sorceress of Sin… I wanna give him the right spelling, ’cause I don’t want there to be something out there like, ‘Oh, she doesn’t know how to spell.’ But it might be right… it might be right… I used to know how to spell it… brain check… I thought there was a ‘u’ in there for some reason… I thought there was like another ‘c’ somewhere…”

Luckily, Chelsea Green was off-camera to help save the day, reminding Elayna how to properly spell the nickname that was once part of her indie wrestling identity.

Since leaving WWE, Elayna Black has returned to the independent scene, but moments like this show even she’s still adjusting to life post-NXT—and brushing off the ring rust when it comes to her old gimmick.

What do you think—should Elayna lean back into the “Sorceress of Sin” persona now that she’s back on the indies? Or is it time for a whole new look? Hit the comments and let us know.
