Elayna Black was released by WWE last month but she didn’t let the release get to her as she reinvented herself in a big way. Over a month after her exit, Black has now admitted she has a sense of relief after her departure.

While speaking to TMZ Sports, Elayna Black was asked how it feels to have freedom after leaving WWE. She said it feels great, even though the feelings come and go. She admitted that losing her dream job wasn’t easy, but she also feels a big sense of relief now.

Black explained that it’s like the whole world is open to her, and she can do anything she wants. She’s planning to keep wrestling, but she’s also excited about trying new things. For the first time in a while, she feels really happy with her life and where things are right now.

“Amazing. I feel like it obviously comes in waves, you know? Like, no one wants to lose their dream job, but I’ve never felt such a sense of relief—almost like the world is at my exposure to do whatever I want. Whether it’s continuing wrestling or whatever else, whatever other opportunities come after this, I’m really excited. And I feel, for the first time in a while, very happy with the present and just how life is right now.”

Another big reason why Elayna Black felt a sense of relief was due to the all body-shaming she dealt with in WWE and she just feels happier to not be in that environment anymore.

As for her future in professional wrestling, Elayna Black has made it clear she is open to making her way back to AEW. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see how 2025 will turn out for Black, as the world is truly her oyster.
