Eddie Kingston has seen a lot in AEW since joining the company in 2020—and according to him, the landscape looks very different today.
While speaking with Busted Open Radio, Kingston was asked if AEW has changed since his debut during Cody Rhodes’ open challenge on Dynamite back in July 2020. His answer was blunt and honest.
“No, it’s changed. It’s definitely changed. The roster has changed, the office has changed, all that stuff. Has it changed for good or for bad? That’s not for me to say because I still get my check, so to me, it’s good still.”
Kingston didn’t get into the specifics of what changed behind the scenes, but he made it clear that as long as he’s still getting paid, he’s rolling with it.
Elsewhere in the interview, Kingston shared that Jon Moxley personally came to visit him while he was out with an injury, highlighting the deep friendship and respect between the two.
