Sherilyn Guerrero is stepping into the world of professional wrestling—but not under the shadow of her estranged mother, Vickie Guerrero. Instead, the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero is kicking off her in-ring journey by joining the Reality of Wrestling training school, run by WWE legend and NXT announcer Booker T.

The Texas-based promotion officially announced Sherilyn’s enrollment with a statement acknowledging her family legacy while welcoming her into a new chapter.

“The daughter of the legendary Eddie Guerrero now begins her own journey into the world of professional wrestling. Welcome the newest member of the Reality of Wrestling Training School — @TheSherilynG.”

Reality of Wrestling isn’t just any indie promotion. It’s an official WWE ID Partnered School, which means Sherilyn will be training at a facility known for developing future WWE talent. The school regularly works with WWE and has produced several prospects for NXT, even featuring current WWE talent on select shows.

Sherilyn seems determined to walk her path with full acknowledgment of her father’s legacy—but without mentioning her mother. On social media, she refers to herself as “Daughter of Eddie Guerrero,” with no sign of Vickie in her bio.

This estrangement stems from a deeply personal and public rift. In 2023, Sherilyn accused Vickie’s current husband, Kris Benson, of sexual assault during a family cruise. The accusations led to a messy fallout when Vickie publicly sided with Benson instead of her daughter. The family drama exploded on social media, with Sherilyn detailing her story while also grieving the emotional betrayal.

Despite the personal turmoil, Sherilyn is moving forward—carving out her own identity in wrestling and making her debut in the same state where her father helped shape wrestling history.

With a legacy name, real-life drama, and a training spot under Booker T, Sherilyn Guerrero’s wrestling journey is already full of headlines—and she hasn’t even had her first match yet.

What do you think of Sherilyn Guerrero entering the pro wrestling world while still estranged from her mother? Does she carry Eddie’s legacy or is she creating something completely her own? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
