Dustin Rhodes is done entertaining comeback talk — and now he’s firing back at critics too.

The AEW veteran recently stirred conversation after posting a cryptic teaser on social media that read:

“#OneLastRide…… COMING SOON!”

The post included photos of Rhodes in full ring gear, immediately sending fans into speculation mode about what the phrase could mean. While some wondered if it hinted at retirement or a final run, others used the moment to take shots at the longtime performer. One user bluntly wrote:

“god hang it up dude. you were washed 10 years ago. its embarrassing.”

Rhodes didn’t ignore it. Instead, he responded directly — and with venom.

“I would but I am not done. Unlike you who has never done a thing in his life. We call that a #NeverWas.”

The exchange comes just after Rhodes shut down renewed speculation about returning to WWE and reviving his Goldust persona. Despite fans pushing for a reunion with his brother Cody Rhodes, Dustin made it clear he’s staying put in AEW, where he previously said he’s doing the best work of his career.

Do you think Dustin Rhodes still has another big run left in him, or should this truly be his final ride? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
