Dustin Rhodes Gets Heated Over WWE Return Talk

Dustin Rhodes isn’t playing games when it comes to speculation about his future—and he just made that crystal clear on Twitter.

On March 13, Dustin posted a throwback photo from his AEW match with Cody Rhodes, writing: “Bet on yourself or you will go nowhere. #KeepSteppin”. Naturally, fans took the opportunity to stir the pot, with one person tweeting: “I would love to see a rematch between these two.”

For that to happen, one of two things would need to go down—either Cody Rhodes would have to leave WWE and return to AEW, or Dustin would have to jump back to WWE. Dustin’s response to the idea? A simple and definitive: “Never.”

That should have been the end of it, but of course, the internet doesn’t let things go that easily. Another fan decided to take a shot at Dustin for dismissing the idea, tweeting: “Afraid of grind just like Ospreay.”

That’s when Dustin went off. He clapped back hard, writing: “Hey dummy, I did that grind. You’re an idiot. Back to ur crawl space.”

It’s safe to say Dustin Rhodes is not entertaining any WWE return talk, and he has no patience for fans questioning his work ethic.
