Drew McIntyre’s social media prowess has evolved into a formidable force, marked by his sharp wit and ability to humorously roast fellow wrestlers such as CM Punk and Seth Rollins. Despite facing a setback at WrestleMania 40, McIntyre continues to troll CM Punk and it appears he sent a huge warning to CM Punk ahead of Clash at The Castle.
The rivalry between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk escalated dramatically at WrestleMania 40. After McIntyre’s match with Seth Rollins, Punk ambushed him, creating an opening for Damian Priest to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase and capture the title. This unexpected betrayal cost McIntyre the championship and intensified his desire for revenge against Punk, setting the stage for a fierce and personal feud.
Since then, McIntyre and CM Punk have gone after each other, intensifying their feud with each passing week. McIntyre even took a page from Eminem’s book, using rap-inspired shot to further fuel the flames of their conflict. Punk also embarrassed McIntyre a few times after that.
While speaking to Cultaholic, Drew McIntyre offered some advice to the ‘Straight Edge Superstar’ ahead of McIntyre’s World Heavyweight Championship match at Clash at The Castle on June 15th. McIntyre warned Punk not to interfere in the match, or else fans in attendance will jump The Second City Saint.
“I think it would be a mistake for a number of reasons after what happened last time at Clash, I really do not want something like that to happen again to the UK…
“This is Glasgow… this is Scotland, this is different. I would strongly suggest not getting involved or doing anything to rock the boat during this show as there’s a genuine chance you’ll get jumped. I’m not even joking. And there’s a genuine chance the security guards won’t stop them because they’re Scottish as well.
“I’m telling you, there’s a good chance you’ll get jumped and security will help jump you if you get involved in my match.”
Drew McIntyre also vowed to give CM Punk title shot after he becomes the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at Clash at The Castle. We’ll have to wait and see when the two will finally square off against each other inside the squared circle.
