Drew McIntyre finally got to speak on the February 6 episode of WWE SmackDown—and when he did, he tore into both CM Punk and Roman Reigns.

After being attacked earlier in the night by Cody Rhodes, and then later blindsided by Jacob Fatu, McIntyre pushed through and delivered a fiery in-ring promo. He responded to the comments Punk and Reigns made on Raw, accusing them of being insecure and obsessed with him. McIntyre said it was embarrassing how much they couldn’t stop talking about him and took offense on behalf of the entire SmackDown roster.

He said every member of the blue brand should be insulted that Reigns and Punk consider SmackDown the “B show,” and he made it clear that anyone not willing to step up should be shown the door. McIntyre also defended the Undisputed WWE Championship, stating that it’s not a secondary title and was built by legends like The Rock, Steve Austin, Bruno Sammartino, Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, and Shawn Michaels. He reminded fans that he carried WWE through the pandemic and earned everything he has.

Addressing Roman’s decision to face Punk at WrestleMania 42, McIntyre said he understood why it happened. He called Punk fragile and positioned himself as a warrior who would dominate Roman, especially without The Bloodline to protect him. He closed by saying that while Punk and Roman are chasing attention, he’s the one with the entire roster fighting for a shot at his title. In his words, he’s the number one champion, the undisputed champion, and the real best in the world.

Despite being ambushed twice, McIntyre still stood tall—ready to face anyone who doubts his place at the top of WWE.

Is Drew McIntyre right about SmackDown being disrespected? Should he be the true face of WrestleMania 42? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
