Drew McIntyre is keeping the pressure on CM Punk—and doing it in style.

Just one day after news broke that there wasn’t actually glass in his eye during the brutal SmackDown parking lot attack, McIntyre popped up on WWE’s official Twitter on March 30, cutting a promo on Punk while holding a customized “Glasgow Rangers” championship belt.

In the clip, McIntyre signs the title, flashes the camera a smug grin, and declares, “One sexy title, and one eye patch.” It’s a bold statement and another clear shot in his ongoing feud with Punk—who’s set to collide with McIntyre at WrestleMania 41 in a high-stakes Hell in a Cell match.

The eye patch reference is a direct nod to the chaotic brawl from Friday’s SmackDown, where Damian Priest slammed McIntyre through a car window. Drew later tweeted, “That was real glass… It got in my eye,” sparking speculation of an AEW reference and concerns over a legit injury.

As earlier reported, McIntyre was treated by medical staff at the scene and later confirmed to be fine. While he initially told others glass had been removed from his eye, WWE sources clarified that “what was removed was not glass.”

Still, McIntyre isn’t letting go of the drama—or the eye patch. Instead, he’s using it as fuel to intensify the build toward his match with Punk.

How do you feel about Drew’s promo style here? Was the “one sexy title, one eye patch” line a masterstroke or just another jab at AEW? Let us know in the comments and join the conversation.
