Drew McIntyre knows fans still want “Broken Dreams” — but if it’s coming back, it won’t be his call alone.

The former WWE Champion has heard the chants and seen the social media posts for years. While WWE briefly revived “Broken Dreams” during his Clash at the Castle 2022 introduction, it hasn’t returned since. And now, McIntyre has addressed the possibility once again. Speaking on the No Contest Wrestling podcast on February 25, 2026, McIntyre was asked directly when fans can expect the iconic theme to return. His answer? Start tagging the boss.

“When’s ‘Broken Dreams’ coming back? If you want that, you’re going to have to tweet Triple H nonstop and drive him crazy.”

McIntyre made it clear that while he understands the nostalgia, he believes his current entrance music better reflects who he is today: “My current music suits me better — I believe that.” However, he didn’t completely shut the door. In fact, he left a small window open — but only for something major.

“But for one big event? Tweet them like crazy and maybe we’ll get it for a big event.”

The Undisputed WWE Champion also hinted that any potential return would be part of a bigger plan rather than a random switch: “It’s a long game — that’s the thing.”

So for fans hoping to hear “Broken Dreams” echo through an arena again, McIntyre’s message is clear: make enough noise, and it might happen — but only on the right stage.

Would you want to see “Broken Dreams” return for a major event like WrestleMania — or should Drew McIntyre stick with his current theme? Let us know your thoughts.
