Drew McIntyre didn’t wait long to escalate things with Cody Rhodes — and this time, it happened after the cameras stopped rolling.

Shortly after the January 2, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown went off the air, McIntyre took to social media and posted two photos of himself urinating on Cody Rhodes’ tour bus. The images surfaced only hours after McIntyre revealed the stipulations for their upcoming Three Stages of Hell match and capped off a night where tensions between the two hit a boiling point. McIntyre laid out the structure of the January 9 title match in Berlin:

  • Stage One: standard singles match
  • Stage Two: falls count anywhere
  • Stage Three: steel cage

He then pushed things even further by burning a photo of Cody and Dusty Rhodes inside the ring, forcing WWE officials to physically restrain Rhodes as McIntyre laughed and backed away.

The post-show photos take that hostility to another level. By targeting Cody’s bus — a deeply personal space for any wrestler — McIntyre sent a clear message that this rivalry isn’t staying confined to the ring or scripted TV segments. With the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line next week in Germany, McIntyre’s actions only add fuel to a feud that’s already crossed into deeply personal territory.
