Things got weird on SmackDown, and Drew McIntyre wasn’t about to let it slide.
After The Rock came face-to-face with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and made an outlandish demand for his soul, McIntyre took to social media to clown the whole situation. He posted a screenshot from The Simpsons—a classic jab at Rhodes apparently being put in a supernatural contract negotiation with The Final Boss.
Fans have been scratching their heads ever since The Rock made his shocking pivot, shifting from ally to something much more sinister. After dropping the bombshell that WrestleMania 42 is heading to New Orleans, The Great One made it clear he’s not just interested in being Cody’s friend—he wants complete control over him.
“I want you to be my champion,” The Rock told Rhodes, promising him everything he’s ever wanted, including security for Brandi and Liberty Rhodes. But when Cody hesitated, The Rock took things to another level. “I want your soul.”
The bizarre exchange left fans stunned, and now all eyes are on Elimination Chamber on March 1, where Cody will have to give The Rock an answer. Will Rhodes bow to The Final Boss, or is this setting up something much bigger for WrestleMania 41?
