Drew McIntyre may have fallen short at Elimination Chamber, but that doesn’t mean he’s out of the spotlight. In fact, the former WWE Champion just teased something major on the horizon—thanks to a private conversation with The Rock.
McIntyre, who was eliminated from the Men’s Elimination Chamber match by Damian Priest, is now seemingly on a collision course with him for WrestleMania 41. But during an interview with Adam Glyn of Adam’s Apple, McIntyre revealed that he had a significant backstage moment at the event.
“It all started [with] The Rock saying those positive words that you captured in 2018,” McIntyre shared. “Re-signing last year, knowing where the company was going to go, The Rock [gave me] that sword. He’s always been on my side. I got a chance to talk with him at Elimination Chamber, and there’s a few things on the horizon—they’re going to be pretty big once it becomes…” McIntyre trailed off, leaving fans speculating.
What exactly is McIntyre hinting at? Could The Rock have a direct influence on his future, or is this something even bigger? With WrestleMania 41 approaching, the Scottish Warrior might be gearing up for something that no one sees coming.
What do you think McIntyre has in store? Is this just about Priest, or could The Rock have bigger plans for him? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
