“You’ve got eyeballs, you tell me. Am I lying? No. Any feedback from the locker room? Would you have said something to me? I always say, if you got a problem, take it up with me. If you got a big problem, then fight me.
I’m gonna verbally rip you apart. You can try on social media—I can rip you apart on there too. I’m too quick with my brain, I’m too big to beat up, so what you gonna do? If I wasn’t married, I’d take your girl. I ain’t one to mess with.”
“Yeah. And the more you put me in those situations—especially with WWE—it drives me nuts when I see some of our guys on these huge public platforms, huge TV shows.
Because these days, no offense, but 85% of our guys don’t look like they should be in WWE. They’re on Netflix and stuff, and my buddies will contact me and go, ‘Yo, I just turned on wrestling for a bit to see what you’re up to.’
It’s cool to see people. Oh, Logan Paul’s on there and he’s killing it. Roman Reigns—what a freaking star. The guy comes on the screen and just pops right off it. He’s a freaking giant.
Then there’s these other guys who look like they should be serving me my fast food at McDonald’s or something, and I’m thinking, ‘I could kick their ass.’ It takes me out of it.”
