Just hours before WWE Royal Rumble 2026 kicks off, Undisputed WWE Champion Drew McIntyre has released a chilling video on Twitter—taking direct aim at both Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes in what might be his most ruthless promo yet.

“Hours to showtime. Two years ago, I prayed for this. And it happened this year. Everything's under my control. I don't need any divine intervention.”

While Zayn is set to challenge McIntyre for the Undisputed Title tonight, Drew had something extra to say about Cody Rhodes, referencing Rhodes’ recent comments:

“I'm not a role model. I dropped the ball. That sounds like classic deflective behavior to me. The pot calling the kettle black. And I've never gone easy on you, Cody… But you want to be humiliated on TV and online, buddy. Game on. No tackiness here. Just brutality. Just honesty. Remember, you're the one chasing me.”

McIntyre then pivoted back to Zayn, mocking the underdog narrative while acknowledging the threat of a single “lucky shot.”

“Yeah, I'm 11 and 0 against him. Yeah, he looks like a bum. But all it takes is one lucky shot, one Helluva Kick to the face, and yeah, he could pin me. He could become champion. That's why I don't like this idea of a fighting champion. Stupid. Those who claim to be fighting champions, they're deluded. It's actually, honestly, disrespectful to the title.”

And then came the coldest part of all—directly to Sami Zayn:

“So tonight, Sami, it's a lesson. So listen to everybody, including your son. No matter how hard you work or how much you believe, for some people this is as good as it gets. So enjoy the moment. Take it all in. Because this is the last chance you're ever gonna get a shot at my title.”

With the Royal Rumble set to go live from Riyadh and McIntyre’s title on the line, the stakes couldn’t be higher—and the champ just made it clear that he’s not coming to defend, he’s coming to destroy.
