Drew McIntyre had a big year in 2024 and is determined to become a World Champion in 2025. During the RAW Netflix debut on January 6th, he had a backstage conversation with The Rock which got fans talking in a big way, and now McIntyre has claimed that The Rock is working on a favor he asked for.
While speaking with Alex McCarthy from Mail Online, McIntyre reflected on his interaction with The Rock during the RAW Netflix. He mentioned that The Rock has always been supportive, offering advice and even including him in a live stream after a match. McIntyre also revealed that he had sent The Rock a sword as a gift when he re-signed with WWE.
Interestingly, The Scottish Warrior stated that he asked The Rock for a small favor, and The Rock is now working on it. However, he didn’t share any details, leaving fans curious about what this could mean for his WWE future.
“He always had such positive public comments. When I re-signed, I sent the sword as a little gift. He has always been there for advice and to include me in his live stream after the match, I wasn’t exactly expecting it, but I feel very honored that he’s willing to shine a kind of light on me. And he swore first, then I saw an opportunity. It’s so hard not to swear being Scottish. So I got a little laugh, and I got to ask a little favour, and he’s working on that for me.”
The Rock and Drew McIntyre clearly share a strong connection, and fans are eager to find out what kind of favor McIntyre requested from The Final Boss. While details remain unknown for now, it’s safe to say that whatever McIntyre has planned will be an exciting moment for WWE fans when it’s finally revealed.
