Drew McIntyre just threw another shot in his ongoing war with CM Punk—this time targeting The Second City Saint’s short-lived UFC run.

In a new WWE Vlog filmed during UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Brady at the O2 Arena in London, McIntyre gave props to the real fighters in the Octagon before taking a not-so-subtle jab at Punk’s MMA record.

“I can confidently say, if I got in the Octagon right now with zero training whatsoever, I would do 1,000 times better than CM Punk. I mean that. 1,000 times better,” McIntyre said on camera.

Punk’s UFC run was rocky to say the least. He debuted in 2016 against Mickey Gall and was submitted in under two minutes. In 2018, he returned to face Mike Jackson and lost via unanimous decision. That result was later overturned after Jackson tested positive for marijuana, but it didn’t change public perception of Punk’s time in MMA.

McIntyre and Punk have been at each other’s throats for months, with their feud boiling over inside Hell in a Cell at WWE Bad Blood in 2024. Punk may have walked out with the win, but McIntyre clearly isn’t letting the rivalry end quietly.

Taking a shot at Punk’s failed UFC stint just adds another layer to their brutal history—and reminds fans that McIntyre’s trash talk is just as sharp as his Claymore Kick.

Do you think Drew McIntyre crossed the line with his UFC dig, or was it fair game after their brutal feud? Should CM Punk respond, or just let it slide? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know who you’re siding with.
