Drew McIntyre is making it clear he has zero regrets — and he’s doubling down.
After the January 2, 2026 episode of WWE SmackDown went off the air, McIntyre escalated his feud with Cody Rhodes in a way few expected. Photos surfaced showing McIntyre urinating on Rhodes’ tour bus, a move that immediately set social media on fire and pushed their rivalry far beyond the ring.
The incident came just after McIntyre revealed the stipulations for their upcoming Three Stages of Hell match for the Undisputed WWE Championship in Berlin on January 9. That same night, he also burned a photo of Cody and Dusty Rhodes inside the ring, forcing WWE officials to restrain Rhodes as McIntyre laughed and backed away. Then came the post-show message.
On January 4, McIntyre took to Twitter and directly addressed the controversy, posting an image alongside a blunt caption that left little room for interpretation.
“I wouldn’t piss on Cody if he was on fire. But I would piss up his bus.”
By singling out Cody’s bus — one of the most personal spaces a wrestler has while on the road — McIntyre sent a message that this feud isn’t about championships alone. It’s about disrespect, pride, and psychological warfare.
With the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line and emotions already running high, McIntyre’s actions suggest he’s willing to cross any line necessary to get under Rhodes’ skin before they step into the ring in Germany. This rivalry is no longer confined to promos and matches. It’s personal — and it’s getting uglier by the day.
