Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl LX Halftime Show didn’t just spark debate online—it triggered a full-blown meltdown from President Donald Trump.

Donald Trump took to Truth Social to unload on Bad Bunny in a lengthy rant, ripping the Halftime Show as offensive, un-American, and unworthy of the Super Bowl stage. Trump’s post went far beyond casual criticism. He attacked the performance, the artist, the NFL, and even folded in unrelated grievances, framing the show as an insult to the country itself.

“The Super Bowl Halftime Show is absolutely terrible, one of the worst, EVER! It makes no sense, is an affront to the Greatness of America, and doesn’t represent our standards of Success, Creativity, or Excellence.”

Trump then turned his attention directly toward Bad Bunny, questioning his identity and dismissing the performance on cultural grounds.

“Nobody understands a word this guy is saying, and the dancing is disgusting, especially for young children that are watching from throughout the U.S.A., and all over the World.”

The post escalated from there, with Trump portraying the show as a national embarrassment rather than entertainment.

“This ‘Show’ is just a ‘slap in the face’ to our Country, which is setting new standards and records every single day — including the Best Stock Market and 401(k)s in History!”

Trump also claimed the only positive reaction would come from what he labeled “Fake News Media,” while insisting the real world felt differently.

“There is nothing inspirational about this mess of a Halftime Show and watch, it will get great reviews from the Fake News Media, because they haven’t got a clue of what is going on in the REAL WORLD.”

As if the rant wasn’t already wide-ranging enough, Trump ended by abruptly pivoting to football rules, calling on the NFL to immediately scrap its kickoff format.

“And, by the way, the NFL should immediately replace its ridiculous new Kickoff Rule. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

The timing of the post stood in sharp contrast to the reaction coming from the pro wrestling world, where wrestlers and wrestling personalities overwhelmingly praised Bad Bunny’s performance for its energy, culture, and representation. While support poured in across social media from wrestling figures, Trump’s reaction became one of the loudest and most polarizing responses of the night.

Whether Trump’s rant fuels the backlash further or simply adds another viral chapter to the Super Bowl discourse, it ensured one thing—the Halftime Show conversation didn’t end when the music stopped.
