Dominik Mysterio Throws Out Wild Guesses On El Grande Americano’s Identity

The mystery surrounding WWE’s El Grande Americano just got even more entertaining thanks to Dominik Mysterio’s latest comments. With multiple masked versions appearing on RAW in recent weeks — and a third one making a surprise distraction during his match against Dragon Lee — speculation has been running wild about who’s really under the mask.

While speaking with The Wrestling Classic about his upcoming AAA TripleMania main event against Dragon Lee, Hijo del Vikingo, and El Grande Americano, Dominik was asked point blank who he thinks El Grande might be. He admitted that he’s as stumped as everyone else, but couldn’t resist having a little fun with his answer.

“I have absolutely no idea. And the thing is it could be so many guys, right? But I don’t know. Like, here’s my thing — what if we’re all wrong and it’s like everyone thinks who they think it is and then it ends up being, like, I don’t know, Mark Jindrak or something, right? Like Marco Corleone. I don’t know. It could literally be anybody. Maybe it’s freaking Mr. Iguana with a mask. I don’t know. I doubt that ‘cause, yeah, no, no, no. That guy, you’ll still see green under there. That guy is something else. I know nothing.”

With Dominik keeping kayfabe alive — or genuinely being in the dark — the mystery is only getting bigger heading into TripleMania. Whether it’s a shocking WWE return, a main roster star in disguise, or one of his humorous guesses, the reveal could turn into a massive moment for both promotions.
