Dominik Mysterio Says He’s Down to Wrestle Lil Uzi Vert in WWE

Dominik Mysterio is no stranger to crossing over into pop culture circles, and now he’s throwing the door wide open for a possible WWE showdown with rapper Lil Uzi Vert.

During a recent interview with Sirius XM, Mysterio was asked which celebrity he’d like to face in the ring. Without hesitation, the WWE star brought up Lil Uzi Vert—pointing out that Uzi had previously expressed interest in wrestling him a couple of years ago. And if Uzi’s still serious? Dominik’s ready.

“I know Lil Uzi, a couple of years ago, said he’d want to get in the ring with me. If he’s still down, you know—I’m here.”

This isn’t just some fantasy booking. Lil Uzi Vert was asked by WWE interviewer Cathy Kelley about his dream WrestleMania opponent shortly after WrestleMania 39. The rapper wasted no time naming Dominik Mysterio as his top pick—adding he wanted to teach the Judgment Day member a lesson.

“Dominik. Yes. I feel like that’s my job. I have to do that,” Uzi said at the time.

The rap star had also hyped up a potential WrestleMania 40 appearance in his hometown of Philadelphia last year, but those plans never materialized. Still, the idea of Lil Uzi Vert stepping into a WWE ring—and going one-on-one with Dominik Mysterio—continues to generate real interest.

Whether it’s a celebrity crossover match or just a viral confrontation, Mysterio vs. Uzi would definitely turn heads. The ball now seems to be in Lil Uzi Vert’s court.
