A major twist has been added to Dominik Mysterio’s upcoming AAA Mega Championship defense — and it could spell disaster for the Judgment Day member.

During tonight’s AAA on FOX, Mysterio, the current WWE Intercontinental Champion and AAA Mega Champion, officially signed the contract for his title defense against former champion El Hijo Del Vikingo at Rey De Reyes. But Vikingo wasn’t just interested in the title — he had some stipulations of his own.

Vikingo made it clear that if he wins the Mega Title, Mysterio will be forced to leave Mexico and leave AAA for good. On top of that, the match will now be a no disqualification bout.

The drama didn’t end there. Vikingo, supported by his El Ojo teammates Dorian Roldan and Omos, confronted Mysterio during the segment, escalating the situation. Just when it seemed like Mysterio was about to face a three-on-one beatdown, El Grande Americano appeared to make the save.

However, the chair shot Americano attempted to land on Omos barely fazed him, and Mysterio took advantage of the chaos to escape. But the action didn’t stop there — The Original El Grande Americano entered the fray to take on the other Americano, but Mysterio chose to sit it out, leaving the fight behind.

Now, with the odds stacked against him, Mysterio’s upcoming title defense has reached a boiling point. Can Mysterio retain his AAA Mega Championship, or will he be forced to pack his bags and leave Mexico for good?

What do you think — will Mysterio walk away with the title or will Vikingo take his belt and force him out of AAA? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
