Dominik Mysterio didn’t hold back when talking about CM Punk’s UFC career. He took a brutal shot at Punk, saying that his losses in the UFC helped kill the pro wrestling business.

While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Dominik Mysterio was asked about CM Punk’s recent comment where Punk joked that nothing killed the business more than WWE trying to convince fans that someone like Rhea Ripley would date a “nerd” like Dominik Mysterio.

Dominik fired back by saying that nothing killed the wrestling business more than someone thinking they’re good enough to fight in the UFC and then getting beaten not just once, but twice. He pointed to CM Punk’s own UFC career as an example, suggesting that if people want to talk about what truly killed the business, they should watch Punk’s fights.

Mysterio finished by joking that he should call his friend Mickey Gall, the fighter who beat Punk in his first UFC match, to see what he thinks about it.

“Um, my response is, nothing kills the business more than someone thinking they’re actually good enough to go fight in the UFC and get their ass beat—not once, but twice. So, if you want to talk about what really kills the business, um just go watch CM Punk’s fights in the UFC and you tell me what looks worse. Um, I don’t know. Let me call my friend Mickey Gall real quick and see what he thinks.”

CM Punk and Dominik Mysterio have a lot of beef already, so it’s not really any surprise Mysterio decided to savagely roast Punk like this. Therefore, we’ll have to see whether the Second City Saint will have an appropriate response to what Mysterio said.
