Dominik Mysterio and CM Punk have a lot of hatred for each other, and it’s very apparent their ongoing beef will not be ending anytime soon. In fact, Mysterio has now called Punk a tantrum-throwing baby over him finally getting to main event WrestleMania.

While speaking to the Wrestling Classic, Dominik Mysterio said he and CM Punk just don’t like each other. He admitted he really hates Punk but isn’t even sure why. He feels it might be because of the way he looks, or maybe it’s how everyone made a big deal about Punk finally getting a WrestleMania main event.

Dominik Mysterio mocked the fact that it took CM Punk decades to reach that milestone, comparing it to giving a tantrum-throwing baby what they want just to quiet them down.

“I’m pretty sure we both just equally hate each other. I f****** hate CM Punk. I don’t even know what it is about that guy. Maybe it’s because he looks like Eddie Munster and I just want to kick him in the fucking face, or maybe it’s because everyone was like, ‘Oh, he finally did it. He finally got his WrestleMania main event.’ Good for you, old man. Sixty years old, took you what—45 years to accomplish your one goal? Like, god damn. It’s about time.

You know how they say when babies throw tantrums, you give them what they want so they’ll shut the f*** up? I’m pretty sure that’s what happened here.”

Mysterio also said Punk only got that spot because he needed help from Paul Heyman, and that there’s a reason Punk was never in the main event before. Dominik Mysterio criticized Punk for always calling himself “the best in the world.”

Mysterio said he doesn’t need to say that about himself because legends like John Cena, JBL, and AJ Styles already give him credit. He believes his actions in the ring speak louder than words, unlike CM Punk, who still feels the need to prove something.

“That’s why he needed a favor from Paul Heyman—because there was a reason Punk was never in the main event before. Let’s not pretend.

He calls himself the best in the world. I don’t need to do that. People already know I’m better than the best. I don’t need to go around calling myself that at 70 years old. I don’t need to say it—because others do it for me. Cena talks about me. JBL talks about me. AJ Styles, too. Legends talk about me. My work speaks for itself. Meanwhile, here’s CM Punk…”

CM Punk was in the main event of night one at WrestleMania 41, where he faced Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a triple threat match, but Punk then made it clear he wants to main event WrestleMania Night Two one day just to shut up his haters. Nevertheless, we’ll have to see if Punk and Mysterio will cross paths again in the future as fans definitely want them to face each other again inside the squared circle.
