Dominik Mysterio isn’t hiding the fact that he used to raid his dad’s collection — and not just for watches.

Speaking on the Club 520 Podcast, the WWE star revealed that before he started his own watch collection, he used to sneak into Rey Mysterio’s stash and take his timepieces out for a spin. And if that wasn’t enough, he admitted he’d also “borrow” his dad’s cars — without permission and before he even had a license.

“Yeah, I started getting into myself a little nice little collection. I used to steal my dad’s watches before I got my own. I would steal his watches and go out, and I used to steal his cars too as a kid… always taking Pops’s stuff. And Pops, right, I know he had that s* too. Yeah, he had some good stuff. I would walk around and they’d be like, ‘How’d you get that?’ You know, worked hard — worked hard sneaking in, making sure he didn’t hear me in the middle of the night.”*

Dominik then told one specific story that stands out — taking Rey’s Audi R8 for joyrides while his dad was away and his mom thought he was just heading to school.

“It’s funny, he used to have an Audi R8. I put all the miles in it ’cause he was gone, and I would tell my mom, ‘Hey, I’m going to school.’ She didn’t know which car, I’d just grab the Audi and bounce. And by the time my mom would call me, I’m already down the freeway. I’m like, ‘Sorry, I gotta get to school.’”

Dominik may be living in the spotlight now, but these teenage escapades show he’s always had a flair for going big — even if it meant risking trouble with the legendary Rey Mysterio.
