Things between Booker T and Swerve Strickland just got even messier—and now DJ Vlad is putting himself right in the middle of the fire.

After Swerve Strickland dropped an “F* Booker T”* during a post-match promo at AEW Dynasty, Booker responded with a lengthy rant on his podcast, claiming DJ Vlad was to blame for instigating the feud. But Vlad isn’t staying silent.

On April 8, Vlad fired back on Twitter, writing, “It’s funny how people claim that I’m the reason Swerve Strickland and Booker T have beef. In my interview with Swerve, I brought up PUBLIC COMMENTS that Booker made about him. Swerve responded.” He continued, “Then Booker goes on a 1-hour video rant saying how Swerve ‘got played by me.’ This is so dumb.”

Vlad also took a clear shot at Booker’s attempt to dodge accountability. “Claiming that I somehow manipulated someone as intelligent as Swerve is an insult to him. Booker clearly regrets what he said about Swerve. And instead of apologizing, he points the finger at the person who brought up his own words.”

He didn’t stop there. Vlad emphasized that Swerve meant every word. “I’ve spoken to Swerve multiple times during that interview, and he stands behind everything he said.”

This latest development adds even more fuel to the already heated drama that overshadowed AEW Dynasty’s main event. While Booker tried to close the book on the issue, saying he “probably won’t ever say anything positive about him again,” Vlad’s update shows the saga is far from over.
