Former TNA Wrestling president Dixie Carter popped back into the wrestling conversation this week to honor the company she once helped run. As TNA hit its 23rd anniversary, Carter took to social media to reflect on the milestone and thank those who helped make it happen.

Dixie served as the face of TNA Wrestling from 2003 to 2017, during a period filled with massive highs and controversial lows. Although she’s kept a low profile in recent years, she made it clear the anniversary meant something personal.

“Happy 23rd birthday, @ThisIsTNA! Thank you to everyone who gave so much to make this milestone possible. It will always be one of the greatest blessings of my life. Here’s to the next 23!”

While TNA is now enjoying a resurgence thanks to a working relationship with WWE and its recent return to the spotlight, Carter hasn’t been heavily involved since her exit. Still, fans remember her era clearly—whether they loved it or not.

Since leaving TNA, Dixie has made a handful of appearances in the wrestling world, including showing up for OVW and having a memorable interaction with EC3, but nothing long-term has materialized.

Her post was brief, but it reminded longtime fans that she hasn’t forgotten the company—or the chaos—she once helped steer.
