Instead of ripping it up, Cornette threw the photo on the floor and was intending to pretend that he was peeing on it. As he slipped his thumb under his sweat pants apparently he might have went a little bit too far because his genitals may have been exposed for just a second. He says the crowd laughed hysterically and they went on with the rest of the show. When he woke up the next morning he couldn’t believe how much this story had been overblown on the internet.
Cornette discusses his hatred of President Trump and Lawler says while he’s definitely not trying to defend Trump, he can’t support the constant complaining that has littered late night television and the internet these days.
Lawler points out that everything is so politically correct these days and people are offended by the silliest little things. Lawler recalls the shooting of Harambe at a zoo last year and several days later he noticed that WWE employee Scott Stamford was growing a beard. Lawler made a joke, saying that Stamford better not go to a zoo because he might get shot. He got in big trouble over that line, and he just doesn’t understand how that joke offended so many people.
Lawler asks Cornette about the apparent disagreement he has with his old friend Kenny Bolin. Cornette informs that Bolin blocked him on Twitter and ‘fired himself’ off of Cornette’s show. They have some differences that need to be worked through right now, but that’s all he’ll say about it.
Auston Idol calls into the show to promote his upcoming indie appearance alongside Jerry Lawler this coming Saturday, October 21st. Idol says he rarely makes appearances at wrestling shows nowadays because he’s not going to drive half way across the Country to appear at a show for $200. He says he left the business and never looked back, and he has invested in real estate for the last 15 years.
