WWE NXT’s January 21 episode on The CW had its fair share of action, but one moment stood out before the main event.
Just as Oba Femi prepared to defend his title against Eddy Thorpe, fans got a surprise when none other than Diamond Dallas Page was spotted at ringside. The WWE Hall of Famer didn’t just make an appearance—he threw up the iconic Diamond Cutter sign, sending the crowd into a frenzy before the bell even rang.
While it’s unclear why he was in attendance, his energy was undeniable, and fans immediately speculated about what it could mean. Whether he was just there to enjoy the show or had something bigger brewing remains to be seen, but one thing is certain—anytime Diamond Dallas Page steps into an arena, people take notice.
Meanwhile, Andre Chase also made his return after weeks away from NXT. The former leader of Chase U looked completely different, appearing disheveled and downcast backstage. Watching an old Chase U clip play on a monitor behind him, Chase made it clear he’s not the same guy he used to be. “All tag teams just end in heartbreak,” he told Hank and Tank before walking off.
Between DDP’s ringside cameo and Andre Chase’s ominous return, WWE NXT packed plenty of surprises into its two-hour broadcast. Fans will have to wait and see if Chase U is truly finished and if DDP’s presence meant anything more than just a nostalgic moment.
