Demolition is officially back in the WWE family. Bill Eadie and Barry Darsow, better known as Ax and Smash, have signed Legends deals with WWE, according to a report from PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.

This marks a major reunion between WWE and one of its most dominant tag teams from the late ’80s. Demolition captured the WWE Tag Team Championships three times and was a force in the company’s golden era. However, their history with WWE hasn’t always been smooth.

Eadie previously took WWE to court in the mid-’90s over the rights to the Demolition name but ultimately lost the case. Both Eadie and Darsow were also involved in the CTE lawsuit against WWE, which was later dismissed. Despite past legal battles, it looks like the company is ready to bring them back into the fold.

With their new Legends deals, the duo can now be featured in WWE’s merchandise lineup, including action figures, video games, and more. This means fans could see Demolition included in upcoming WWE 2K games or even new retro-style collectibles.

Beyond their run as Demolition, both men had memorable careers under different names. Eadie also worked as The Masked Superstar, while Darsow portrayed Blacktop Bully in WCW and the unforgettable Repo Man in WWE.

After years of being on the outside, it looks like Demolition is finally getting their due. The question now is whether WWE will go a step further and give them a long-awaited Hall of Fame induction.

Do you think Demolition deserves to be in the WWE Hall of Fame, or should their legacy remain as it is? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
