WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page just fired off a very public message to AEW President Tony Khan—and it’s all about one of the company’s biggest missing stars: Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Taking to X, DDP made a bold and direct appeal to Khan about Baker’s extended time away from AEW television.
“Yo Tony, when are you bringing back @RealBrittBaker?”
DDP didn’t stop there. He claimed Baker has stayed ready behind the scenes and suggested the time is now for her return.
“Rumor has it she’s been staying in peak physical condition and is ready to make her return. She’s ready and so are the fans.”
Britt Baker has been absent from AEW programming since November 2024, which has led to swirling fan speculation and even rumors that she was looking to leave the company. But according to reports, that narrative doesn’t check out. Sources close to the situation reportedly said that the rumors of her trying to get out of her deal were “news to them.” Even Tony Khan chimed in, offering a vague but optimistic update.
“She will return when the time is right.”
Khan chalked up her absence to AEW’s rotating talent strategy and confirmed that Baker still has over a year left on her current contract.
While staying out of the ring, Baker hasn’t been out of sight. She recently fired back at a fan on social media who assumed she was retired after she posted a beach photo. Many fans are pointing to AEW Dynamite in Pittsburgh on September 24—her hometown—as the perfect time for her to reappear, but so far, there’s been no confirmation.
