AEW Collision saw a notable ratings boost this past week, but according to Dax Harwood, it wasn’t just the in-ring action that had fans tuning in—it was his unintentional strip show.

Taking to X on March 19, Harwood reacted to the 12.4% increase in viewership, cheekily implying that his accidental near-exposure during FTR’s match against The Undisputed Kingdom was the reason for the boost.

“Collision rating up? I think I know why…” Harwood posted, along with four photos from the match. The images show him suplexing Roderick Strong off the top rope while Strong grabbed his trunks—nearly pulling them off in the process. The spot resulted in a very close call, with Dax’s gear barely staying in place.

Fans, of course, ran with the joke, flooding the replies with comments like “Give this man a raise” and “Dax almost got exposed in more ways than one”. Others jokingly demanded AEW send Harwood a “wardrobe malfunction bonus” for the unintended viral moment.

Whether or not Harwood’s stunt actually saved AEW’s ratings is up for debate, but it’s clear the moment didn’t go unnoticed. Do you think this unexpected moment played a role in Collision’s boost? Drop your thoughts in the comments!
