David Sahadi is officially done with MLW, and sources say the promotion is shifting gears creatively after internal concerns about his outside commitments.
According to PWInsider, Sahadi is no longer working with MLW as the company decided to “move in another direction in terms of production.” While no official reason has been publicly confirmed, there’s talk that his involvement in Eric Bischoff’s Real American Freestyle project raised eyebrows behind the scenes.
Sahadi wasn’t under an exclusive contract, which means he was free to work elsewhere. However, his dual roles reportedly caused tension inside MLW leadership, who felt the Bischoff venture was a little too close for comfort. One insider revealed the likely trigger point for the split:
“There’s been rumblings that Sahadi working for Real American Freestyle… was seen as a conflict of interest while also working with MLW.”
Despite the exit, MLW sources made it clear there’s no bad blood and credited Sahadi for his contributions to the company’s visual identity and storytelling approach.
“MLW sources, in confirming Sahadi’s exit, praised his work.”
Sahadi, a longtime veteran in pro wrestling production with deep roots in both WWE and TNA, hasn’t commented publicly on the situation.
