WWE’s official acquisition of Mexican lucha libre promotion AAA has seen WWE put more focus on the Latin American market as a whole. This includes them holding a “SuperShow Mexico” event this year and now the date and venue for the event has been revealed.

Luchablog took to Twitter and revealed that during a concert at Arena Monterrey, a list of upcoming events included a WWE “Supershow Mexico” scheduled for Sunday, July 27th at the same venue. It was noted that they may announce a future TripleMania Regia event during the show.

“At the concert tonight in Arena Monterrey, a list of upcoming events mentions a WWE “Supershow Mexico” on Sunday 07/27 in Arena Monterrey. This is probably meant to be a TripleMania Regia announcement.”

This comes after we previously reported that the company is preparing to run multiple shows in Mexico, all leading up to a major “SuperShow Mexico” event. Naturally, fans are excited for the upcoming event for good reason.
