Darby Allin is known for putting his body on the line, but he says protecting his mind is something he takes very seriously.

During his appearance on TMZ Inside The Ring, Darby was asked about long-term health risks such as CTE and head trauma — topics that have become increasingly important in wrestling. Given his high-risk style, the question focused on whether brain health is something he actively thinks about.

Darby made it clear that mental health and brain protection are priorities every time he competes.

“Yeah, absolutely. To me, the mind is everything. But there is also a lot more things you can do for your mind to recover your brain as much as possible. So, I'm always on top of that with DDP. He's got all the latest and greatest crazy contraptions and I'll be the lab rat that goes over there and tries everything. So, yeah, no, absolutely. You have to protect your mind every night doing this.”

Darby also referenced working with Diamond Dallas Page, noting that he regularly tests different recovery methods to help keep his brain healthy. That level of preparation is notable considering how often he performs risky stunts and takes heavy punishment inside the ring.

Even with his reputation for danger, Darby Allin continues to show that awareness and preparation play a big role in how he stays active in one of wrestling’s most physically demanding environments.
