Daniel Cormier just dropped a major claim about Brock Lesnar’s status—and it doesn’t sound good.
During an interview on The Mightycast with Demetrious Johnson, Cormier addressed whether a future match with Brock could ever go down inside a WWE ring. But instead of hyping the idea, Cormier abruptly shut it down with a cryptic comment that has fans talking.
“Brock is on the banned list right now. Brock got into so much trouble. I ain’t telling you on air what Brock did. Brock is in so much trouble.”
Cormier didn’t explain who issued the ban or what exactly Lesnar is accused of, but the message was clear—Brock’s name is off the board for now.
This comes as Lesnar remains completely absent from WWE programming. He hasn’t been seen on TV since SummerSlam 2023, and things got worse when he was later named in Janel Grant’s lawsuit against Vince McMahon and WWE.
Lesnar’s past flirtation with UFC also fizzled out. After his Octagon shove at UFC 226 sparked rumors of a fight with Cormier, the bout never happened. Cormier now says that WWE paid Lesnar more money to stay put—and skip the danger.
“Brock played us. Brock came with the idea… WWE paid him more to stay. He was such a big star there that he could make money to go do that and do nothing but suplex, or fight me in an Octagon and I’m going to try and kill him. He made the best choice.”
The bigger question now is—what exactly did Brock do to get “banned,” and who made that call?
