Dani Sekelsky is still riding the high from her Season 2 win on WWE’s LFG, but she’s already looking ahead to her future in NXT—and she’s not playing it safe.

The former NFL cheerleader turned WWE breakout star made it clear during her interview on Going Ringside that she’s laser-focused on making her first appearance in NXT something people will never forget. But before stepping into the spotlight, she took time to address the personal work that had to happen once the competition ended.

Sekelsky opened up about physical struggles during the show and how she’s been rebuilding since the finale:

“As soon as LFG ended, I finally took care of my body. I was suffering several injuries throughout both seasons—some of which they shared, some of which they didn’t. And I wasn’t taking the right steps with my nutrition and my fitness… I’ve just become so much stronger since the finale.”

Her immediate mission? Be ready when the spotlight hits.

“Obviously I am eager for my TV debut… creating that moment of my TV debut and making it unforgettable. That’s my goal right now because it’s going to be such a big opportunity for me, and I’m putting a lot of pressure on myself. But I think anybody would in this situation.”

While her short-term vision is centered around the big debut moment, Sekelsky isn’t shy about what she ultimately wants.

“Long term, obviously I’m going for that NXT Women’s Championship. That’s the goal. I mean, if I’m going to be in NXT, I want to make a name for myself in NXT.”

Sekelsky knows the pressure is real, but so is her drive. With her momentum from LFG, a revamped physical mindset, and that signature grit, she’s positioning herself to be a true player in WWE’s next generation of stars.
