Dani Palmer might be done with wrestling for good. After confirming her WWE exit earlier this week, Palmer—real name Alexsis Amrhein—sparked speculation about retirement with a heartfelt post on Instagram. Now, a new report has shed light on what’s really next.

“I’m officially closing out my athletic career,” Palmer wrote. “The past 3 years have been amazing! I can truly say I went ‘til the wheels fell off… literally lol.” That message came just hours after WWE’s latest wave of NXT releases, which included Palmer among others.

In a follow-up report, Fightful Select stated that those close to the situation “don’t believe that Palmer will continue in wrestling,” further confirming what many fans already suspected—her time in the squared circle may be over for good.

Palmer joined WWE in 2022 with a decorated background in acrobatics and tumbling, earning recognition as a three-time NCAA National Champion before transitioning into the wrestling world. She made her in-ring debut on NXT that same year and was later featured on NXT Level Up and WWE’s rebranded EVOLVE programming.

Though she never had a breakout moment on television, Palmer’s charisma and athleticism made her a standout among developmental talent. Still, it appears her wrestling chapter is closing just as quietly as it began.

Is this really the end for Dani Palmer in wrestling? Or could she make a surprise return down the road? Let us know what you think in the comments.
