A major championship match has been set for the March 16 episode of WWE Raw, but it was a reaction from a WWE newcomer that quickly grabbed attention online.
After WWE announced that AJ Lee will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley on Raw, Danhausen jumped into the conversation with a suggestion that certainly escalated things. Responding directly to WWE’s announcement on social media, Danhausen kept his message short but dramatic.
“Make this an inferno match!!!!!!”
The comment came in response to WWE’s promotional graphic for the championship bout, which confirmed that Lee will put her title on the line against Bayley during Monday night’s broadcast.
The match announcement is part of a stacked lineup for the March 16 episode of Raw, which is also set to feature appearances from Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. Natalya is also scheduled to face Maxxine Dupri in a rematch after their controversial previous encounter.
Danhausen’s fiery suggestion may not become reality, but it certainly added some extra humor and hype to the upcoming championship match.
