You never know what can happen in WWE. R-Truth has proved that on several occasions, and he did it again this week on SmackDown.

The March 20 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina. The MFTs are in rare form as tag team champions, but this week, they had an interesting set of challengers.

Damiana Priest and R-Truth stepped up to face Solo Sikoa’s faction this week on SmackDown. This match kicked off the show as the first match of the night after Drew McIntyre and Jacob Fatu’s bloody brawl.

This match had fans going for the babyface team because they wanted to see new champions. The match stretched on through a commercial break, and things were looking good for Truth until Solo got involved, which resulted in a near-fall.

The Wyatt Sicks came out next, but they didn’t get an entrance. Instead, they just brawled with the MFTs. Then Uncle Howdy hit a Mandible Claw on Solo Sikoa as he ambushed him. JC threw Howdy against the barricade, but then he returned to the ring to take some offense, which included an AA from R-Truth, which was enough to score the pinfall for the new WWE Tag Team Champions.
